Everything you need to know before placing a custom cake, cookie, or sweet treat order with Marcia’s Micro-Bakery.
Lead Times
Simple cookies: 2 weeks. Custom cakes: 2–3 weeks. Weddings: 6 weeks.
Minimums
Custom cookies require 2 dozen minimum. Custom cakes start at $75.
Payment
Invoices are due immediately to secure your order date.
Pickup
Please arrive within your scheduled 15-minute pickup window.
Custom Order Requirements

- Simple Cookies: 2 weeks minimum

- Wedding Cakes: 6 weeks minimum
- Rush Orders: Rush fees apply when available

Payment Policies
If payment is not received, your invoice may automatically cancel the next day and your pickup date may be released.
Deposit Requirements
- Orders under $350: Full payment due immediately
- Orders $350+: 50% deposit required, balance due days before pickup or delivery
- Wedding Cakes: 50% deposit required, balance due 1 week before event
We accept payment via Square invoice, credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Pickup & Delivery
Scheduled Pickup Times
All orders have a scheduled pickup time. Please arrive within your 15-minute pickup window.
Business Hours for Pickup
- Tuesday – Friday: Must be completed by 5:00pm
- Saturday: Must be completed by 12:00pm noon
- Sunday & Monday: Closed — no pickups available
Late Pickup Fees
- 15–30 minutes late: $25 fee
- 30+ minutes late: $50 fee
- Late arrivals after closing: Cannot be accommodated
Delivery Services
- Within 15 miles of Beachwood, NJ 08722: $25 flat fee
- Outside 15 miles: $25 base + $2 per mile + tolls/parking costs
Cancellations & Refunds
- Before payment: Invoice auto-cancels if payment is not received
- After payment — 72 hours or more notice: Partial refund may be available minus deposit
- After payment — less than 72 hours: No refund
- No-show pickups: No refund
Design & Customization
All custom orders require completion of our order form. We work with you to create original designs inspired by your ideas and vision.
All designs created by Marcia’s Micro-Bakery are our intellectual property. Specialty custom cutters specific to your design may incur additional charges.
Communication & Changes
All orders must be placed through official order forms. We do not accept orders through social media messages or informal inquiries.
Changes to orders must be requested at least 1 week before pickup date. Changes may affect pricing and availability.
