Custom designs take time, creativity, planning, and care. This policy protects the originality of Marcia’s Micro-Bakery’s creative work.

Ownership of Design Concepts

At Marcia’s Micro-Bakery, we take pride in creating unique and personalized designs for our clients. Any sketches, drawings, mockups, inspiration boards, written design concepts, or custom design ideas provided during the consultation or planning process remain the intellectual property of Marcia’s Micro-Bakery.

If You Do Not Proceed With Your Order

If you choose not to proceed with your order, any design provided may not be used, replicated, recreated, copied, shared, or given to another baker or business without express written permission from Marcia’s Micro-Bakery.

Why This Policy Exists

This policy helps protect the originality and exclusivity of our work, as well as the time, creativity, planning, and materials invested in developing your custom design.

Custom Cutters, Templates & Specialty Elements

Custom cookie cutters, templates, edible image layouts, fondant details, specialty decorations, and other design elements created or sourced for an order remain part of Marcia’s Micro-Bakery’s creative process unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Inspiration Photos

Inspiration photos are welcome and helpful, but final designs will be created in Marcia’s Micro-Bakery’s own style. Exact duplication of another artist’s work is not guaranteed.
