Custom Order Requirements
Lead Times
- Simple Cookies: 5-7 days minimum
- Complex Cookies: 2-3 weeks minimum
- Custom Cakes: 2-3 weeks minimum
- Wedding Cakes: 6 weeks minimum
- Rush Orders: Rush fees apply (see Fast Track policy)
Minimum Orders
- Custom Cookies: 2 dozen minimum
- Custom Cakes: $150 minimum order
Payment Policies
IMMEDIATE Payment Required
ALL INVOICES ARE DUE IMMEDIATELY UPON RECEIPT.
If payment is not received, your invoice will automatically cancel the next day and your pickup date will be released to other customers.
Deposit Requirements
- Orders Under $350: Full payment due immediately upon invoice receipt
- Orders $350+: 50% deposit required immediately to secure date, balance due at pickup
- Wedding Cakes: 50% deposit required immediately, balance due 1 week before event
Payment Methods
We accept payment via Square invoice (credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay).
Pickup & Delivery Options
Pickup Policy
Scheduled Pickup Times
All orders have a scheduled pickup time. Please arrive within your 15-minute pickup window. We schedule our day around your pickup time and have other commitments.
Business Hours for Pickup
- Tuesday – Friday: Must be completed by 5:00pm closing time
- Saturday: Must be completed by 12:00pm (noon) closing time
- Sunday & Monday: Closed – No pickups available
Late Pickup Fees
- 15-30 minutes late: $25 fee
- 30+ minutes late: $50 fee
- Late arrivals after closing time will not be accommodated
- If you need to change your pickup time, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance
No-Show Policy
Orders not picked up within 24 hours of scheduled time may be considered abandoned. No refunds will be issued for abandoned orders.
Delivery Services
Yes, we offer delivery for an additional charge!
Delivery Pricing
- Within 15 mile radius of Beachwood, NJ 08722: $25 flat fee
- Outside 15 mile radius: $25 base + $2 per mile + tolls + parking costs from Beachwood, NJ
- Final delivery fee may vary depending on location
Delivery Hours
Delivery times are scheduled when you place your order and must be completed by business closing times (5:00pm Tuesday-Friday, 12:00pm Saturday).
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations
- Before payment: Invoice auto-cancels if payment not received by next day
- After payment – 72 hours or more notice: Partial refund available (minus deposit)
- After payment – Less than 72 hours: No refund
- No-show pickups: No refund
Design & Customization
Design Consultation
All custom orders require completion of our order form. We work with you to create original designs inspired by your ideas and vision.
Design Ownership
All designs created by Marcia’s Micro-Bakery are our intellectual property. See our Design Ownership Disclaimer for details.
Custom Cookie Cutters
Standard shapes are included in base pricing. Specialty custom cutters specific to your design may incur additional charges.
Communication
Order Confirmation
All orders must be placed through our official order forms. We do not accept orders via social media messages or informal inquiries.
Order Changes
Changes to orders must be requested at least 1 week before pickup date. Changes may affect pricing and availability.
Quality Guarantee
We take pride in every creation. If you have any concerns about your order, please contact us immediately at pickup or delivery. We cannot provide refunds or replacements after you leave our location or after delivery is complete.
